This section will be broadened, and abridged, but for now I have only been able to include a few of my works. More will be added as I get around to it. Just keep checking back.

The Dark One

All invocations I have included, unless stated otherwise, follow the fourfold step to invocation as briefly outlined below.

Steps to Invocation

1. Preliminary Invocation
The magician makes an invitation to a specific being, which is filled with appeals to the nature of the being that the magician desires most to be called on. Contains detailed reference to the symbolism surrounding the god.
2. Response
The magician imagines he hears the God's voice echoing his own words, as he speaks them.
3. Assumption of God form
The magician identifies himself as the god, by speaking as him.
4. Final Invocation
A last verse is recited, but the magician(the god) imagines he hears it from far off, as if he IS the god, being invoked.

I suggest that the reader consult Aleister Crowley's Magick in Theory and Practice Chapter II: The formulae of the Elemental weapons, for a more detailed description of this process.

Note- All invocations must be properly prepared for with an opening of sorts, rituals such as the "Watchtower Ceremony", given in Donald Michael Kraig's Modern Magick are excellent for this purpose, and I suggest that the would-be magician consult and familiarize themselves with a ritual of this sort for the best results.

Invocation of Hades

Preliminary Invocation

a gloomy dark, the shadows stand
Hades, within thy realm their whisper becomes a scream
so near the source, the mouth of darkness
its voice rebounds, echoes loudly
and thou, its lord, plunged into dark
chosen to fall
farther than sky
farther than wave
thy dwelling made, the mortar of bones
a horrid wail rises up
shakes the darkened stones

Hades I call you!
Hades I summon you!
Hades I invoke you!

from the depths of the pit
where tartarus lies, the wails of thy forefathers
to match the dead's
and dead they be, for death is around them
and thou, a dread lord, thunder through the wraith filled halls
thy coal black steeds, and iron shod wheels
let thy chariot bear you
raise you to earth, I summon thee,
I call thee, stand before me, beside me
oh dark cloaked god
so hooded and grim
Hades, thee I invoke

Response

can you hear me whisper?
dare you call me?
filled with the cold, of a million graves
chill those who touch me, who would touch the night
see how my might is shown in the world
I've defeated life, in every battle
the earth become my dwelling
my mark lies in time
when the cold wind blows
my rule made complete
hear my voice, how your flesh doth quiver
and the bones within you quake
the marrow bubbles, thy fear reduced you
your voice is mine, you speak it always
with every tick of the clock,
with every fall of the sand
your mortal shell, dies yet more
you shall never hear my voice,
so loudly again, until it withers away

Assumption of God Form

my voice is heard,
as loudly as the waves, crashing upon the shore
or the echo of the voices, the tormented wails,
I reign over, I ever put down
behold I am Hades!
as you sink to death, I gather you in,
embrace you, hold you, never to leave,
a jealous lover, will not soon relinquish,
the loves that I have gathered
Behold I am master of men,
rebellious serfs, I reclaim them all,
the taste of death upon their lips,
a bitter reminder of their lord,
hear my voice, a dread tone taken it,
reflected in your own

Final Invocation

Hades you have come unto me,
from mist filled realms,
where you lay in dark,
a blot to light, I feel your chill,
hail to thee! dark-born god,
in thy rising death comes closer to earth,
and the river styx, rises and floods, bubbles onto land,
borne by its wave, risen to earth,
stand beside me, in the blackest waters,
knee high they are stained,
as black as the blood, that adorns your robe,
a griseley garment,
folded about my shoulders

Invocation to Poseidon

Preliminary Invocation

Rise and fall, each tumbler turns over
Each wave strikes shore, stolen the earth
Poseidon hear my cry!

Through the blackened waters, the fearful deep
Swallows the light
and my gaze, ended, I stare even yet
hear my voice!
answer my call!

from the deepest depths, the root of all waves
where nymphs at sport lure down their loves,
from thy heavy throne, wrought of the earth
the source of all tides, the source of all storms
Poseidon I summon thee, Invoke thy might
Lord of the realm, the sailor's demise
greedy miser who hoards their wealth
I call thee, summon thee
answer my cry!

Response

Listen about you, the roar of waves
my voice is heard, in that crushing wall
in the turn of the tide, the brackish foam
my body lain, covers the earth

what fools are these who seek me out ?
they find me, embrace me
their faces vanish, as I draw them under
never to breathe, to suckle the air
left the light, when they chose the wave
they are mine now

my might is shown in the churning waters
is mine the realm in which children play ?
a shimmering surface disguises the depths
my kingdom filled with the ruin of man
a million bodies, rocked gently by waves
do a deathly dance, to please their lord
and I sit among them, on a watery throne
of the hardest stone, no wave may move it
forever is mine, when man has died,
I will sit on it yet

mine is the wave that rapes the shore
mine is the wind that stirs the sail
I bear the ship or drag it down
you can hear me whisper in the morning dews
or roar in the darkest night

tritons call summons you near
the roar of the waters, heralds my coming
the feel of the waters lapping against you
as I take my first step to land

Assumption

I am the waters of the land,
flown into the sea,
carried with me, this earthly vessel
now a dominion of the tides
behold we are one!
I am the earth reever, the watery scythe !
I form the land, and I destroy it
this grainy harvest I reap each day
my kingdom filled, with the pulverized bones
of the earth, my mother
a light, cool dust, I bear it down
molded by the current's hands,
my watery fingers reform them
and each man who has loved and died
his body thrown to earth
they all meet my embrace,
for their body, wasted,
becomes the very dusts
I hoard so greedily

Final Invocation

what are these waters, the clouds cast to earth ?
salty tears, fill the seas
the land bonds of sea farers, you have broke
the icy waters,
the chillborne reflection of your heart

never the less I welcome thee
poseidon, the roar of the waters
announces your call
and I raise my arms to meet you
hail to thee, lord of the waters!
Poseidon thee I invoke!
